Nobuhle Sibanda faces deportation to Zimbabwe TOMORROW. She has lived here in Kent for 20 years and all her family is here, she knows no one in Zimbabwe. As a political activist, Nobuhle is very likely to be imprisoned on return and she faces being tortured or being made to disappear. Recent Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International reports have demonstrated that the government in Zimbabwe has stepped up its persecution of political opponents. Please help to prevent Nobuhle being deported!

Re: Flight KQ101/KQ700 on 04/02/2015 19:00
Forced removal of Nobuhle Sibanda
Nobuhle Sibanda is due to be forcibly removed by the UK Home Office from London Heathrow to Harare, Zimbabwe via Nairobi on 4th February 2015 (KQ101/KQ700)
Nobuhle Sibanda is being flown to Zimbabwe against her will. As a political activist, Nobuhle is very likely to be imprisoned on return and she faces being tortured or being made to disappear. Recent Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International reports have demonstrated that the government in Zimbabwe is stepping up its persecution of political opponents. It is a dangerous time to force people in need of protection back to Zimbabwe.
I respectfully request that Kenya Airways does not take this woman onboard this flight. I am very worried for Nobuhle’s safety on the flight and after landing, and for the safety and comfort of other passengers, and for the reputation of Kenyan Airways
If she is taken onboard, I would request that you inform the appropriate medical officer, as many removals result in injuries sustained from force used by the security guards. In one recent case, a man being deported on a British Airways flight died from injuries while being restrained by security guards.
I ask Kenya airways to look to you conscience, and refuse to take part in this injustice. Nobuhle must be allowed to put her case to the UK immigration courts, to claim her legal right to sanctuary. You can play a part in right a wrong, and granting sanctuary to this woman.
Yours faithfully,
